A free, four-month experience designed to help families prepare, connect, and grow together.
Cultivated Beginnings is a free, four-month reproductive and perinatal education program serving 20 expecting families in Franklin County.
Led by trained community health and birth professionals, Cultivated Beginnings brings families together for monthly, family-centered workshops covering pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum wellness, infant care, infant feeding, and parenting. Teens in participating families receive age-appropriate reproductive health education designed to help them build knowledge and make informed decisions about their health and future.
Each session is designed with the whole family in mind and includes family-style meals, childcare, mindfulness activities, and participant incentives to make meaningful participation easier. Adult participants are also eligible to receive a postpartum doula visit.
